Mevlana Tea
Loose-leaf tea and tea bags compared
Loose tea as the star of ceremonies around the world
Loose tea is made from whole or broken leaves. For many tea lovers, this is a sign of better-tasting tea. The fact is, however, that loose tea leaves are not tightly enclosed and therefore have more room to expand and release their flavor. Loose tea offers tea lovers an attractive and sophisticated presentation at various ceremonies. In contrast, the tea leaves in tea bags are ground into tiny, uniform pieces that we call fannings or dust. This tea brews very quickly and produces a strong, dark tea. This is because more of the tea leaf surface is exposed to the hot water.Tea bags as the indispensable companion at the workplace
Tea bags are extremely convenient to prepare. Simply heat water to a boil, pour it over a tea bag, and let it steep for three to five minutes before enjoying your tea. Loose leaf tea, on the other hand, requires a little more preparation time and equipment. Therefore, tea bags are usually preferred at the workplace. If you have a samovar, of course, you can prepare loose tea for several hours.
