The Art of Tea Drinking
Brewing tea is an art, and drinking it is too…
Tea has significant positive effects on human physiology and psychology. It is no wonder that the world-renowned Austrian poet Peter Altenberg described tea as a "bath for the soul" in 1913. Just as the food we eat and the nutrients we consume nourish our bodies, and the music that enters through our ears and envelops our entire being nourishes our souls, tea will cleanse our inner selves first with its taste and then by taking us on a magical journey through history. Just as a composer’s choice of music speaks to the soul, the choice of tea will be made by the individual over time. Given the diversity of tea plants and the creation of new blends by combining them with other plants, this process will naturally require effort and time.
Of course, the tea best suited to the individual will make the enjoyment of tea come closest to being a bath for the soul.
A famous Chinese philosopher says: "TEA IS DRUNK TO FORGET THE NOISE OF THE WORLD."
