Yani, Karadeniz \u00e7ay\u0131 ve Seylan \u00e7ay\u0131 aras\u0131nda kullan\u0131lan bitki ve \u00fcretim a\u015famalar\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan neredeyse hi\u00e7 bir fark yok.Ancak Seylan \u00e7ay\u0131na tok ve aromal\u0131 tad\u0131n\u0131 veren iklim, toprak ve co\u011frafi ko\u015fullar d\u00fcnyan\u0131n ba\u015fka bir b\u00f6lgesinde bulunmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in, Seylan \u00e7ay\u0131 sadece bizde de\u011fil, d\u00fcnyan\u0131n her \u00fclkesinde aranan siyah \u00e7aylar aras\u0131nda yer al\u0131yor.Seylan \u00e7ay\u0131n\u0131n bir di\u011fer \u00f6zelli\u011fi ise, Avrupa \u00c7ay Teknik Komitesi (European Tea Technical Committee) taraf\u0131ndan \u201cen az tar\u0131m ilac\u0131 kal\u0131nt\u0131s\u0131 bulunan \u00e7ay\u201d olarak kabul edilmesidir.<\/section>\n<h2>Seylan \u00c7ay\u0131 Tarihi<\/h2>\n<p>Eski ad\u0131 Seylan, yeni ad\u0131 Sri Lanka olan bu k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck ada \u00fclkesinde 1800\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llarda sadece kahve \u00fcretimi yap\u0131l\u0131yormu\u015f. Aradaki 20 y\u0131ll\u0131k fark, bitkinin adaya geldikten sonra ticari olarak \u00fcretime ge\u00e7ilmesi aras\u0131nda ge\u00e7en s\u00fcre olabilir. Hatta baz\u0131 kaynaklarda Sri Lanka\u2019da \u201cdeneysel\u201d \u00e7ay yeti\u015ftiricili\u011finin 1839 y\u0131l\u0131nda Hindistan\u2019\u0131n Assam ve Kalk\u00fcta b\u00f6lgelerinden getirilen bitkilerle yap\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 belirtiliyor.<\/p>\n<p>Sonu\u00e7 olarak kahvesiyle me\u015fhur Seylan 1800\u2019l\u00fc y\u0131llar\u0131n ortas\u0131ndan itibaren \u00e7ay\u0131yla an\u0131lan bir \u00fclkeye d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fmeye ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f. 1894 y\u0131l\u0131nda ise Ceylon Tea Traders Association (Seylan \u00c7ay\u0131 T\u00fcccarlar Derne\u011fi) kurulmu\u015f.<\/p>\n<h2>Seylan \u00c7ay\u0131 \u00c7e\u015fitleri<\/h2>\n<p>Seylan \u00e7ay\u0131, camellia sinensis bitkisinden \u00fcretilmesine kar\u015f\u0131n \u00fclkenin farkl\u0131 b\u00f6lgelerinde yeti\u015fen bitkilerden elde edilen \u00e7aylar\u0131n aromalar\u0131 farkl\u0131 olabiliyor.
